Role Summary:

The Senior Processing Associate is a key role responsible for executing advanced processing tasks while ensuring the highest level of accuracy and compliance. In this role, you will perform quality control checks, troubleshoot processing issues, and mentor junior team members. Additionally, you will contribute to process optimization, assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), and help drive continuous improvement within the accounts payable/receivable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute complex and advanced processing tasks with high accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company standards.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks on processing tasks, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies or errors to ensure 100% data accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Actively troubleshoot and resolve complex processing issues, providing solutions to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
  • Assist the Team Lead in training, mentoring, and guiding new and junior processing associates, ensuring they understand processing procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate in the development and enhancement of processing guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process workflows to optimize efficiency and performance.
  • Monitor error tracking and conduct detailed root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues. Propose and implement preventive measures to reduce errors and improve process accuracy.
  • Contribute to the creation of ad-hoc reports, daily performance metrics, dashboards, and customer call metrics, providing insights into team performance and processing trends.
  • Responsively address and resolve email queries from vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional communication regarding processing-related matters.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable/Receivable processes, with the ability to execute complex transactional tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance with processing standards.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, providing support and training as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
  • Experience in process improvement, including error tracking and root cause analysis.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in processing (Accounts Payable/Receivable) or transactional processing roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership position.
  • Proven experience in quality control, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
